Jackpot City Casino

Like it's sister Lucky Nugget, Jackpot City Casino no longer accepts UK players leaving 32Red Casino, the Hippodrome and Roxy Palace as the remaining dedicated Microgaming casinos for the UK market. Both casinos are operated by Digimedia which also owns The Gaming Club. It's licenced in the EU (in Malta to be precise).

While the 2 casinos are obviously very similar (they both run off the Microgaming games platform), it's worth checking out Jackpot City for their promotions which are pretty much exclusively targeted at slots players. You may well get some information on the Jackpot City offers in your email box anyway, if you play at Lucky Nugget, but it's as well to compare the sign up offers at both- they differ, and one may appeal more than the other.

Of course, being a pure Microgaming casino, Jackpot City has pretty much the full range of their slots like The Dark Knight Slot with it's progressive jackpots (the big one is linked in to the Mega Moolah network and ticks off from £1 million), and newer games that are worth a look like the Untamed Giant Panda Slot, the Ariana Video Slot and the Playboy Slot (both of which should appeal to nature lovers). But if it's variety you are after, then you won't find any other games platforms on here (such as IGT or Net Ent). It's Microgaming through and through.

In terms of cashing out, there is a 24 hour reverse pending period but you should see your money in 48 hours or so (including the weekends) and although there are faster-paying casinos here on slots.org.uk not, many process weekend cashouts.

Jackpot City styles itself as "The Home of The Big Jackpot". Well, I don't know about that- you are just as likely to win a jackpot here as anywhere else, but they are certainly one of the bigger Microgaming operators around, and that gives me a certain amount of confidence when I play here.

Jackpot City Casino is part of a well established group that has been around the block. There's £500 free for first time players spread over your first 2 deposits (£200 then £300, both 100% match bonuses). The play through requirement is 50x (that's the amount of bets you have to make with the bonus money before you can transfer any winnings from your Bonus Balance to your Cash Balance). While that's a little steep, it only applies to the bonus amount, and they do at least make this clear. You can always ask the casino to reverse any bonuses out of your account if you don't want to fiddle around with them.

In conclusion, a good choice for fans of Microgaming slots like Thunderstruck and Hellboy, but lacking the variety of land-based slot games that you'll see in other casinos. Oh, and they've got a pretty decent range of mobile slots if you like playing on your phone (Mega Moolah, Mermaids Millions etc). Personally speaking, I can't see the reels spinning on my mobile but I think that's an age thing - I need to put some bottle ends in some frames - it's tablets, pcs and laptops for me.
