Earlier reports that Spain's online gambling regulator, the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego, may be gearing up to follow the example of Italy in authorising online slot action (see previous reports) have been confirmed with news that the DGOJ is currently consulting with operators on the issue.
Fifty three licensees are keen to go ahead with further liberation, and talks are moving in a positive direction, according to insider sources.
