Hall of Gods & Gladiator deliver to lucky punters

Online punters speculated on a massive progressive slot win over the weekend when Net Entertainment's Hall of Gods jackpot was reset and news of a €6,413,972 jackpot emerged hot on the heels of Playtech's €2.37m Gladiator Jackpot although the latter has an unfortunate twist in the tale.

Net Entertainment had not yet issued a press release on the win when went to press early Monday.

Hall of Gods is a Norse mythology-themed, 5 reel, 20 pay-line progressive that last produced a winner in late April this year with a jackpot of Euro 6.7 million (see previous reports). That big win went to a Swedish player in his sixties from the town of Norkoping, who had staked just Euro 2 at the Betsson online casino.

The Playtech Gladiator jackpot was the first time the progressive had dropped since the game was introduced in 2012. However, the UK-based punter won it at Winner Casino who, unfortunately for him, have a term which means the punter only receives it in chunks of £50,000 every month meaning it will take nearly 4 years for him to receive the money!
